Puddles Pity Party
Puddles, the sad clown with the golden voice, seemed ripe for the 1930s rubber-hose cartoon treatment, given he resembles a “through-the-looking-glass” version of Fleischer Studios’ Koko the Clown. For those not familiar with this modern-day Pagliacci’s work, search Puddles Pity Party and his covers of Lorde’s “Royals,” or Sia’s, “Chandelier,” two of my favorites. Sit back and enjoy. #cry #onions
